Hi, I’m Tracey
The Maillery Studios is just me. One person, two pairs of pliers, working out of my home in Pinellas Park, Florida.
Chainmaille found me during one of the hardest seasons of my life, after my sister was diagnosed with Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (CJD). I needed something to hold my hands and quiet my mind, and weaving gave me exactly that. Rings closed one at a time, over and over, something steady to focus on when everything else felt uncertain.
I never set out to sell any of it. But every time I wore a piece, someone would ask where I got it, and when I said I’d made it, the next question was always the same: “Do you sell them?” Eventually I started saying yes.
Everything here is made entirely by hand, one ring at a time. No molds, no shortcuts. What I love most is custom work: one of a kind pieces made for a specific person, in their colors, that end up meaning something. Tell me what you’re picturing and we’ll make it together.
